Cross-country skiing trail

The park protects 210 hectares of forest, located just a few steps from Highway 15. It is crossed about twenty kilometers of cross-country skiing trails. The network is tightly knit, the trails form a labyrinth and intersections are numerous. It is easy to love this kind of place where you can improvise its journey by forking here, right and left.
It is particularly pleasant to do a hike since we have installed a map of the tracks at all intersections of the network. You will be surprised by the quality of the trails. They are all two-way so rather broad. They are traced mechanically on perfectly level pedestrian paths. Results: even with little snow, they are pleasant to ski, there are very few bumps and holes.

Moreover, ten kilometers of these trails are covered with stone dust. This way, we can trace them faster at the beginning of the season, and the snow stays there longer at the end of the season, in addition to being much more pleasant to walk with young children during the summer.

The park is slightly hilly, especially in its south-western part. There are some slopes in this area. The degree of difficulty of any network is usually easy, so it is a good place to get kids skiing. The wooded area is diversified; A pretty cedar forest, corners filled with white birch trees and magnificent sugar shack.
